ANDREA J. TURNER, 302-544-5003

?GODS? GIFT is the name of my art business. I give God the glory and praise for blessing me with this talent and the ability to present the results of His Gift. I thank you in advance for observing and patronizing my business. May God continue to bless us all.

Andrea (Ann) was born in Salisbury, MD to the late Andrew J. Turner and Ms. Marion L. Handy. She was raised in Salisbury, MD and Wilmington, DE at various stages in her life. Ann has exhibited an interest in the arts as early as age three.

Her artistic talents favored the attention of her early education art teachers, mentors, family and friends who recognized her talents and initiated the foundations on which she would build her career now. Their inspiration, direction, encouragement and teachings fostered her engine into the art world, driving her ambition to be an accomplished artist along her life?s journey.

Ann graduated from Wilmington High School with art honors and later studied at the University of DE. Soon after graduation she attended Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA. Also of great honor is her attendance in the Fine Arts Dept. at Howard University in Washington, DC where she studied for 2 years. In 1998 she had training at Delaware Technical College in Stanton, DE in the area of CADD (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) where she was president of the CADD Club.

Ann has had shows in Delmar, MD., Delmar, DE., Westminster, MD, Chester, PA., Wilmington, Claymont and Newark, DE. She has paintings from New York and as far south as Virginia. She hopes to expand her exhibitions.
Ann was selected to show one of her paintings at the Grace Church Gallery in February 2006. Also in that month she was seen along with a variety of her paintings on channel 28, which is a local station for Wilmington and surrounding audiences. Look for her again soon. In April 2006 Andrea exhibited in the Wilmington Art Loop where she displayed more of her oil paintings of portraits, landscapes, houses and animals at Nzinga?s Cultural connection, 28th & Market Sts., Wilmington, DE. In May 2006 her paintings were exhibited at Bassett Furniture Store in Bear, DE for the month and in July there was a contest and the winner received a free oil painting of their choice.
May 12, 2006 Andrea raffled off one her paintings at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life at Wilmington?s Riverfront Rock?n Relay
Ann has one son and two beautiful grandchildren, whom served as her muse to express GODS? GIFT OIL PAINTINGS.
I'm so glad I will not waste any more of my life and I can contribute beauty through my eyes onto canvas for the world to see and appreciate, as much as I do.
